Skincare Talk #2 : Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence (Malaysia Review)

How are you? I hope you are in good shape, health and mind. Okay hari ni aku nak share skincare review aku tentang Advance Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence by Cosrx. 

As well all know, Cosrx is a brand korea yang tak asing lagi in the skincare industry. Dengan style packing yang minimalist and function yang straight forward membuatkan aku tertarik untuk membeli this Snail Mucin. Aku beli since 2017. Haaaa! Baru sekarang nak review! Hehe maaf. Sibuk dehh~ Sebenarnya, botol Cosrx aku dah habis. Tak sangka, 2 tahun gaklah pakai botol tu. Dengan ada skipnya and kalau aku pakai sekali pun, memang 2 kali aku guna per session. Aku pakai siang dan malam. Tak sangka gak, that one bottle of 100ml will last for 2 years lol.

Ingredients of Cosrx Advance Snail 96 Mucin Essence;

- Snail secretion filtrate, Betaine, Butylene Glycol,1,2 - Hexanediol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine.

The function of Cosrx Advance Snail 96 Mucin Essence:

Based on their Official website, Cosrx.com, they claim that this essence can do recovery, plumping, redness-reducing, nourishing, paraben-free and cruelty-free. All Cosrx products are cruelty-free which means their product is not tested on animals.

My skin concern;

Before aku guna Cosrx Snail essence ni, my skin was in okay-okay kind of condition. Aku takde breakout teruk or apa. Tapi i can feel that my skin is a little bit dry sebab masa tu aku tak tahu sangat hydration. Yelah, masih belajar lagi dalam dunia skincare. Bila Maisarah, the skincare twitter tu cakap Hydration is the key, aku start to cari product yang best for Hydration and I come across to Cosrx Snail Mucin Ni at Shopee.

My review on Cosrx Snail Mucin; (panjang je nama kau, aku pendekkan je lah. Aku rasa korang pun penat baca panjang-panjang kan?).

The packaging is simple and minimalist

Cosrx packaging are very simple, minimalist and transparent. Kau boleh nampak berapa banyak lagi yang tinggal. Takde fancy sangat description. Botol dia somehow buat aku sayang sangat nak buang. Botol dia a lil bit tebal. Bukan macam botol plastik nipis.

Sangat delicate and lightweight

Masa first aku letak kat tangan aku, dia rasa macam a lil bit sticky. Tapi takdelah sticky sangat. Macam snail lah rasa dia. Dah nama pun snail essence kan. And its delicate. Love sangat!

Odorless smell

Bau snail mucin ni is odorless. Takde bau sangat macam skincare yang lain. Bau dia macam a bit fresh.

Feel my skin is plumping and nourished!

Masa first night aku pakai, pastu aku tidurlah kan. Semangat okay nak bangun pagi esok, nak rasa skin sendiri. My first impression was my skin was not as oily as before. Selalu aku bangun tidur, muka aku akan oily sikit especially dekat bahagian T-zone. But that morning, my skin feel plumped and less oily. Its a very good point for me.

Keep my skin hydrated

Snail mucin ni berjaya bukan skin aku terasa lebih hydrated di tambah pulak dengan routine minum air selalu daripada aku. Kena minum air banyak sikit okay. Jangan malas minum. Nanti kencing colour kuning pekat (Eh tibe!) Yep. I feel hydrated, my skin tak terasa cracked or dry macam selalu. I feeeeel so goood about it. Oh ya! Aku lupa! Lepas aku guna essence ni, aku dah tak letak moisturizer dah. Aku guna moisturizer Himalaya. (Aku akan give the feedback next time) Sebab aku rasa the combination of snail mucin and moisturizer himalaya makes it more oily. So i decided to not use moisturizer Himalaya bila aku guna Cosrx Snail Mucin.

Aku harap post aku kalini sedikit sebanyak dapat membantu those yang nak try this essence. Personally, i think that this essence is suitable for people yang ada masalah oily skin. Sebab aku dapat rasa my face bila pakai this essence and masa tak. Aku rasa aku nak beli untuk boyfriend aku gaklah nanti this essence. I hope it would suit his skin condition acne+oily. Kalau jadi beli, nanti aku buat posting about him okie?
